Shannon Spake
Shannon Spake was born July 23, 1976. She's a NASCAR reporter as well as an Fox Sports college and basketball reporter. In the past, she worked for ESPN in which she was a contributor to SportsCenter in the form of pre and post-game coverage. She was also a sideline reporter for SEC on ESPN basketball matches as well as college football games. Spake has also been a journalist for the brand-new SEC Network, which is part of ESPN. Before coming to ESPN, Spake worked at Speed Channel, where she hosted NASCAR Nation in its second version (June until November 2005) and was also a reporter in its first (February to June 2005). Back Seat Drivers was also hosted by Spake and Marty Smith. Her prior on-air positions included WCCB and WCCB in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Carolina Sports and Entertainment Television.
